As a solution to this problem, the owner should renew the turbo, oil pickup strainer, oil feed, and return pipes with the help of repair manual. Getting them replaced is inconvenient which might hurt your pocket.
So, go the prevention way, and make sure to replace the filter and oil of your Peugeot car once a year or every 9500 KM.
  2. ABS fault: In some of the Peugeot 307 cars, the fault in ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) has been reported. When checked, it was found that the fault was caused when rear wheel sensors were corroded because of an air gap.
To get rid of this problem, one should clean the car parts properly and refit them.
  3. Starting Problem: Some cars of Peugeot fail to start or create problems while being started. In most of the cars of other brand, this problem is often related to battery; but in Peugeot cars, the problem arises because of starter motor.
The engine does not turn over at all or turns over slowly. This issue can be solved by repairing the starter motor or in worst cases, completely replacing it.
  4. Ignition coils: There are some owners who reported that even after replacing the starter motor, their Peugeot cars didn’t start or the battery did not charge.
The cause of such problem might be broken ignition coils and it’s more likely that the ECU (Engine Control Unit) is blown. To get this issue resolved you should get the ignition coils replaced and in worst cases, the ECU (Engine Control Unit) should be replaced.
  5. Roof issues: In some cars belonging to the models Peugeot 207 cc and 208 cc, the owners reported roof related problems. The convertible roof in these cars didn’t open or close at all. This is not a big problem and sometimes battery might be the reason for causing issues in convertible roof.
