Insert CD and let it auto-run.

Or you can manually auto-run, by going to "My Computer" -> Right-click on CD/DVD -> Expand

Then double-click on file: setup.exe

When asked, enter password provided on your included paper leaflet.

Software will take about 20 minutes to install. Please be patient.

When install is complete, double-click on icon “Player” on your desktop. This will install VMWare – a small necessary software required for Mercedes manual to open.

When installation of VMWare is complete – restart your PC.

You can now launch the software from the start-menu.

NOTE: If you get a prompt about "I moved it" or "I copied it" – select "I copied it" and click "OK".

 

1. If you get a BLUE SCREEN while launching Mercedes software, select “Start Windows Normally” on next boot screen.
   
   If it still persists, choose “Safe Mode”. Once you enter Safe Mode, Click "No" when it prompts a message box. Then don't do anything as it's installing missing devices. When done, you'll be prompted that New Device has been installed. That's when you can restart and choose “Start Windows Normally”.
   
   
   
2. If you get this: "Error: this product can only be installed on a machine with CPU support for CMOV, PAE, TSC, and FXSAVE instructions."
   
   Here's the solution...
   
   Please uninstall existing VMWare installation. Then install this version.
   
   
   
3. If you get message prompt about product expiring — just discard it.
   
   
4. You get message from Windows that you need a newer version of VMPlayer: Download latest version here. And choose: VMware Player for Windows 32-bit and 64-bit
